Undesirable Side effects of steroids

Otherwise, steroids do not cause inauspicious side effects if taken in limited quantity or under some doctor’s prescription. Abnormal changes have been seen in the cognitive behaviours of steroid users like aggression, depression, violent, hysterical, etc. the internal imbalance of the body results after use of steroids in excess. This affects the natural production of hormones inside the body. External ingestion of steroids may lead to certain other side effects like shutting down the growth of adolescents, headache, nausea, bowel’s dysfunctionality, bone pain, changes in urinary pattern. The steroids abuse by athletes lead to flaccid tendons that can provide serious injuries to the athlete. Steroid abuse by men may lead to disastrous alterations to reproductive system like development of famine characteristics. In the similar way, steroid abuse by females may lead to serious changes like development of manhood characteristics.
